I am looking for a good flat-bed scanner. I've been told that the quality
is not so much due to the scanner, but also the software that comes with it.
I know most of them are fine with graphics, but I want something that also,
as accurately as possible, recognizes text.
At the moment I use my Brother fax machine, which also serves as a scanner,
but I have to spend a lot of time correcting letters, etc. I want to be
able to scan in a document and just have to make minimal changes, if any.
If any of you out there have a scanner with which you are very satisfied for
both text and graphics, could you please let know the make, model and the
software.
Much appreciated.
