Thank you, George, and the many other people who answered my question. It
does seem that some people have experienced problems, but most respondents,
like George, reported none.
My little department had our meeting yesterday and, when they listed the
fonts they routinely used, I discovered that my coworkers did occasionally
use Type 1 fonts. They just didn't know they did. I think the tipoff was
when one of them said, "I like ACaslon and Frutiger." <g>
Obviously not all of us have this "geek computer user" thing mastered.
