What part of webwork do you want to do most? there a techie side to it
(which I'll call "developer") as well as a design side to it. I'd suggest
the follwing priority for the skill you mention:

Designer: javascript, CSS, DHTML, XML, Java, perl, cgi

Developer: cgi, perl, java, XML, javascript, CSS, DHTML
