DynaText was originally developed as a tool for building electronic books. I
have only used it as a viewer, but at one time considered Inso as a possible
supplier for the document and content management system we are currently
implementing, so I have followed their fortunes along with a range of other
suppliers of content management solutions. The company's press releases and
share market performance tell a tale.

Inso corporation sold its DynaText/DynaWeb Publishing business to Enigma
corporation on October 19, 1999 (see
http://www.inso.com/corporate/news/1999-10-19-18.xml). See
http://www.enigma.com/products/dynatext.htm for current information on
DynaText. The fact that DynaText is still listed on Inso's web site may
relate to the tale alluded to in the paragraph above.
