<<By anyone's best guess, what are the the hottest job markets in
the US
> these days i.e. in what geographical location are companies the most
> desperate for employees?>>
>
The following are locations where there is a concentration of high
tech companies, creating a demand for competent (or semi-competent)
technical people, including technical writers:
Bay area/Silicon Valley, CA
Portland, OR
Seattle, WA
Phoenix, AZ
Boston, MA
Atlanta, GA
Research Triangle, NC
Austin, TX
San Diego, CA
I think a market can lean toward a type of technology. For instance,
I am in San Diego and telecommunications and biotechnology seem particularly
strong here.
