Another anecdote...
I was struggling with an explanation of a certain piece of software that
mimicked the behavior of PLCs and automated processes... I was seriously
stressed over the issue. I took it to a very simple, and exceedingly smart
gentleman to review and comment on. His response?
"If they don't understand _this_, they're too stupid to be using our
product!"
I laughed hysterically. It was totally unexpected. Then I went back and
revised it even more where I could. It gave me the boost I needed to go back
and look at the material once more from a fresh perspective.
Folks, without humour, we (I) got nuthin!
