Response:
The same thing happened to me. By the time I got the second offer, it was
late on Friday afternoon, and I had to leave a voice mail message for the
recruiter at company one. Yikes. A few days later, a very nice note card
arrived in the mail, saying how sorry they were to lose me, and if I ever
changed my mind... Ouch. Kindness sometimes cuts even deeper.
