Try this solution on your PowerPoint presentation:
Change the type of slide on the first two slides to Title Master Slides.
You will be able to remove the link button and coverup autoshape from the
two new title slide masters. Slides 3 thru..... will remain with the link
button on the slide master of the slides that follow. This should >
