I agree this is tricky ethical gray area, but when you
read these lists, don't you generally just read the
messages that provide value to you? And doesn't this,
in its own small way, improve your skills and make you
a more effective employee?
The ten minutes or so that I spend every day reading
these lists just gets absorbed into my usual 10 hour
day. No one here begrudges me the time spent because
I've been able to apply some of the things I've
learned here.
