The technical writing profession primarily demands two skill sets - pertaining to language and the technical. A segment of us, however, get off on being technical about language.
The Internet is about COMMUNICATION. Not WORDS, even less about ENGLISH. That's what TCP/IP is about.
Communication is about content. Grammar, syntax and style MERELY serve to regulate the expression of this content.
So please don't get a wedgie over a web page. Do your job well. You'll get the applause you deserve without having to tear down another's efforts.
