Software development is NOT comparable to the production of tangible, durable
goods like vehicles. Multitudes of MBA classes have tried to make comparisons
to software and traditional production methods. These comparisons always fail
because tangible, durable goods do not share the same function, penetration,
and use in the marketplace.

The funny thing is that the FDA, of all people, recognize this as fact. The documentation required for an FDA submission, especially in the areas of design and development, differs substantially between hardware and software products.

Win, who is still working on the hardware documentation
