Yes, the health care system is generally "free" and that is a plus. Last fall,
the mayor of Toronto, Mel Lastman was experiencing severe chest pain and was
rushed to the hospital. He layed on a stretcher in a hall way for 9 hours before
he received treatment. I guess you get what you pay for.
But Canada has one great thing going for it, a very low crime rate. Except for
areas in big cities, Canada is a very safe country to live in. And the 'ockey
ain't bad either eh?
