conducted by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).
CASA has widened its scheduled maintenance audit to investigate the
company's quality assurance and technical publications divisions.
An authority spokesman says the inquiry has been prompted by a CASA review
of concerns raised by the US Federal Aviation Administration about Qantas'
bearing and seals workshop at Sydney.'
