Yup, Adobe was there. I checked out the vendor area about 4:30 on Sunday .
. and didn't see them--musta missed their puny booth in its out-of-the-way
location. I only found the booth after they left . . .. I heard a rumor they
did have a drawing, but for what, I don't know. I was disappointed in their
showing, or lack thereof. Also, where was Quadralay? Their competition was
certainly there, and there in force. Most of the vendors seemed to be
translation companies, then help/single-sourcing/XML. Not a huge variety
but, then, I am unsure who I wanted to see, aside from Adobe, Quadralay,
Macromedia . . ..
As for timeframe, I suppose the vendors could have stuck around through
Tuesday night, but I had opportunity to see them Sunday, Monday lunch, and
Tuesday morning. There were not so many vendors and, from other non-tech
writing conferences, the last day always stinks for vendors, nobody visits
the vendors on the last day. I did like the idea of the vendor showcases,
even though I did not take advantage of them.
Best regards

Abode was there??!!! I never saw their booth...but then, it was
difficult to see ANYONE's
booth, considering the timeframe we had to see any exhibits.

A bit of a follow up on a question asked last week about if Adobe
would be at the STC
