When I installed PDFmaker to make Acrobat files from my Word 97 docs, I
had no luck doing so until I made a postscript printer my default. Then
I made HUGE pdfs from relatively small docs. I'll be working over the
compression settings to handle the file size, but in the meantime I have
a worse problem:
When I change my printer back to the actual printer I have (Epson 660
inkjet) from the postscript printer, the files I've been working on no
longer open and Word crashes!
