Susan (and Jo Ann),
When you install Acrobat 4.05, you will get a new button in the toolbar of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint,...) with an Adobe logo on it. This invokes PDFMaker (NOT PDFWriter!!!). PDFMaker works great once you have the preferences and job options set up correctly.
The easiest way to do this is to set up the options you want in Distiller and then save the options under a new name. When you use PDFMaker, the default settings should be your saved choices.
