Subject:Directory Index - How to edit Description? From:"Michael Collier" <mcollier -at- arlut -dot- utexas -dot- edu> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Thu, 15 Jun 2000 08:31:34 -0500
I'd like to be able to edit the Description column of a directory index
published on the web. For example http://www.arlut.utexas.edu/~mcollier/test/ lists files I'd like to add a
description for.
I can view the source of this page but I don't see any obvious way of
editing it - I can't open it in my HTML editor, for example. The directory
is on the Unix file system - is there a way to edit it there? I have both NT
and Unix tools for editing.
Thanks for any suggestions -
