I spent a weekend at a consulting seminar where they touted having 3 to
5 independent streams of income in any given year. They were talking
about consulting, speakers bureaus, publishing, etc. It made some sense
to me, and with your reinforcement of the 'legitimacy' notion, I can see
it has some functionality.
But I also like Peter's advice about a 'limited liability' company. I
think I'll do some more research. Thanks for your input.
