While it's true that the gerund is unique to English, it will not pose any problem to any professional translator. Every language has similar kinds of features and it is the role of the translator to bridge the gaps.

However, you can streamline the translation process by standardizing the style used for headers for each language. In other words, your style guide might call for gerund in English, imperative in French and infinitive in German. This way, each language is consistent and the translator knows what's expected.
