Subject:java application field-level help From:"Carol Chung" <cychung55 -at- hotmail -dot- com> To:techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com Date:Wed, 28 Jun 2000 09:19:15 PDT
Hi, I'm developing online help for a JAVA-based application. The UI contains
numerous fields which I'm grouping in a table per page. The drawback is a
long table. The same fields appear in read-only and selectable (for example,
text box) views. I've seen a javascript that allows a link to a specific
help topic from a selectable form field. Is there any equivalent for a
read-only field? I'm trying to avoid creating a separate help link per field
(clutter).
TIA, Carol Chung
