Hi Beth:
You can copy/paste from QuarkXpress to a word doc,
and use the compare docs command to check on changes. QX also saves a native doc as a text file, if it is strictly text the person is looking at.
You also get an import filter at the Quark Site that imports Word 97 docs into Quark with formatting and background textures as well.
