Subject:FrameMaker - Runs on UNIX & Windows (& Mac) From:Michael Andrew Uhl <uhl -dot- mike -at- epamail -dot- epa -dot- gov> To:"TECHWR-L, (Tech Writers)" <TECHWR-L -at- LISTS -dot- RAYCOMM -dot- COM> Date:Tue, 03 Oct 2000 17:19:08 -0400
TECHWR-Lers:
One key advantage of using FrameMaker for me is that I can move between
UNIX and Windows very easily.
I believe FrameMaker was originally a UNIX-oriented program--and it
retains mich of that orientation, and as a UNIX-oriented user, it's a
much better tool for me than say Microsoft Word, Ventura Publisher, or
Adobe PageMaker.
WordPerfect comes on both operating systems, but my group and I *hate*
WordPerfect.
Ciao.
