Subject:Re: New Acrobat Version? From:Max Wyss <prodok -at- prodok -dot- ch> To:bdoonan -at- coreco -dot- com Date:Wed, 18 Oct 2000 21:07:42 +0200
Brian,
the current version of Acrobat is 4.05, update 2 (for Windoof),
update 1 (other platforms).
Version 4.05 has been out for quite a few months now, but it could be
that your boss heard about that recent update which is supposed to
handle some securitiy issues (and I think also some printing issues
to PCL printers as well).
There is quite a difference between 4.05 and 4.0, and if you are a
registered user of 4.0, you would have received a free update CD in
the meantime (although there have actually been problems, and the
"automatic" might have been a little bit quirky...).
Hope, this can help.

my boss just said to me that he had heard about a new version of Acrobat
that came out to market
recently. I have heard nothing about this myself. Can someone enlighten me
on the newest version?
Abode's web page is advertising 4.0 as, I assume, their latest - as far as
I can see at least.
