RE: Word hyperlinks
Can someone outline what I should be doing in Word to keep my hyperlinks to
appear in my PDF?
I hope that I'm not answering a question that someone else has already answered (I just jumped into this thread and it has taken a confusing turn), but here's what I do in the Acrobat 4.0 PDFMaker for Microsoft Word (2000): I select all the options in the Links area of the Output tab. This seems pretty obvious, so I'm not sure that I understand your question, but that's what I would do.
I have encountered problems with maintaining Word hyperlinks in PDFs in the past, however, when I was using Word 97. I know the cause, but I don't know an easy solution. The cause was that I had converted the document from HTML to Word to PDF. In Word, the hyperlinks worked, but once I converted the Word file to PDF, they stopped working, despite the fact that I had all the Links options selected. So I had to go through and redo the hyperlinks manually. A big pain.
Hope that helps!
Dawson
