Well, that depends on your circumstances. I work for a pretty small company.
On most of the projects we writers document, we work independently: one
writer per product. Only one of our products is large enough that we work as
a team. (Which is not to say that we don't consult each other for ideas, do
peer editing, etc. while working on the smaller projects, but that's a minor
part of our day-to-day work.)
I do enjoy working with the other writers, and often find them a wonderful
resource of ideas and suggestions. However, that's a much smaller part of my
job than the many other items mentioned in the survey. Therefore, that
wasn't my choice.
