I tried to reply directly but the message
bounced back.

Coincidentally, just yesterday we went through a similar
conversion.  I have help files in plain HTML.  One of our 
programmers plugged them into Microsoft's HTML Help and had 
them running in a matter of hours, maybe even minutes.
