TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Subject:RE: Need help with a research project From:APEERY -at- FAMILYDOLLAR -dot- COM To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Tue, 7 Nov 2000 10:07:48 -0500
Among other things, pzhu asked:
"1....waht kinds of technical documents do you often work with?
2.In the ... documents ... what kinds of errors do you often find?"
The questions strike me as survey-like, rather than requests for facts that
can be dug up elsewhere. ("What is RoboHelp?," e.g.) Unless I'm missing
something (all too probable, sadly), pzhu is doing his own research, and
getting his answers as directly as possible, precisely by posting these
questions.
