Writers' RIGHTS upheld.

The U.S. Supreme Court yesterday agreed to review
<http://www.supremecourtus.gov/docket/00-201.htm> the 2nd Circuit
opinion in
Tasini v. The New York Times Co., 1999 U.S. App. LEXIS 36241, 206 F.3d
161.n The Court ruled that electronic information vendors cannot include
a free-lance author's article in their databases without permission even
though the article may have originated from a print publication covered
by the database.
