'Stereotype' thread

Someone wrote about two fast-food employees not being
able to make change in an upper-middle class area of
NJ.

I had the same experience just yesterday and I live in
Los Angeles (this happened in Pasadena - an
upper-class area near L.A.)  Incidentally, I am from
an upper-middle class area of NJ!

I chalked it up to a labor shortage for
non-skilled/semi-skilled labor. Perhaps it is hard to
find somewhat 'sharper' personnel these days - it's
just a numbers issue.
