RE: How can I embed an .mp3 sound file in a web page?
Subject:RE: How can I embed an .mp3 sound file in a web page? From:bryan -dot- westbrook -at- amd -dot- com To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Wed, 15 Nov 2000 08:40:47 -0600
Take it from one who has in the past committed this sin and been greatly
chastised for it: think long and hard about embedding sound files in your
web pages. Complaints I received included:
*Takes too long to load.
*Interferes with the CD's that some readers are already listening too in
their CD-ROM drives.
*Tends to crash some people's browsers.
*Can disturb co-workers if viewed at the office.
*Downright annoying.
