I do, however, have a problem with the fact that the doc opens
within Word when I click on it in RH.

If you're using RoboHTML, seems like I remember there was a discussion about
the fact that Word took over the doc rather than leaving it to RoboHTML.
This discussion was on the Help-Authoring-Tool-and-Techniques (HATT)
listserv, which I would recommend subscribing to it ( http://www.egroups.com/subscribe/HATT ) if you have HATT-specific questions
of this type. In any case you can find out more about the list and search
the archives here: http://www.egroups.com/messages/HATT
Seems like I remember it was specific to upgrading to Word 2000 and that
vaguely I recall that the solution required creating a new project maybe and
importing the topics into it. Sorry I can't be any more clear. I use
RoboHelp Classic, in which the docs are supposed to open in Word.
good luck
