Arlen, I respect your opinion and I know you have been a contributor
longer than I have. Maybe my point is just that the list is 'real
world' whether we all like it or not. Someone is going to look at
the postings and make judgements about whether they would make a
suitable employee or not. I do, I admit. But then, I'm in the biz
(yes, I am a writer *and* contract firm) and I certainly understand
the diff between blowing off a little steam and getting downright
nasty and contentious. I can't afford to submit nasty and contentious
to my clients. Several other posters pointed out the potential
damage to our business reputation with our clients.
I certainly agree that no one should make such judgements in a hasty
or unfair fashion.
