I'm not a great fan of IM, and I don't want to get into a tools war, but you
should at least have the current information so you can make up your own
mind.
Before you can say that you "do" IM, you have to be trained in it by one of
their trainers. You're already doing some of the techniques, but IM applies
a rigorous methodology. Take the training if you want to (preferably if
someone else is paying for it). I did, and I learned some useful tricks from
it. Whether you join the IM cult is up to you.
