I am documenting medical industry software, and have a question on common
material name capitalization. Are the words "latex" and "nylon" now in the
public domain and do not require capitalization?
It seems like they do not require capitalization, but I have not found
definitive evidence of this. I recall reading something about DuPont Co.'s
"Nylon" originally being a trade name, but since falling into the public
domain.
Anyone?
