Not all are like this. I spoke twice at a job-fair put on jointly by
the Central NJ and PA/Phila STC chapter on using the Internet to find
a position.

The entry fee was waved, lunch was provided, and when I happen to
mention in conversation to one of the promoters that the handouts had
cost me a couple-hundred bucks, unexpectedly, they immediately wrote
a check to cover the expense.
