TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Eric...The only reason I see to move to a different forum is that
proposal writing is often part of marketing communication and there
are a number of tech writers that think that anything having to do
with marketing writing is the "writing of the devil", sleezy and not
worthy of true technical communication.
I'd want to be able to discuss all aspects of that type of writing
without having to get into a discussion of whether or not writing to
convince is not "wrong".
