I got a DVD player for Christmas. I'm proud to say that my husband *did*
consult the manual as he was incorporating the player into a system that
includes an old receiver, a VCR, a CD change and three (count 'em, three)
Nintendo systems. I watched him working on the project, and he did consult
the manual several times. Finally he got things working, but I was a little
uneasy what with four remotes orbiting the room.
The best part came the next day, though, when my daughter and I found that
he had added to the user's manual. Now the front cover is covered with
instructions about which components need to be turned on, which remotes to
use and which buttons to use to play a CD, video tape, DVD, or any of the
three types of Nintendo games. I was *really* proud then!
