Actualy, it is flickering 12:00 not because they don't know how to
set the VCR (they do it every day), but because they didn't read the
manual for their power generator and IT keeps going out every day
(causing the VCR to reset.)
That's the problem with you technical writers...you don't take the
time to learn about the user's TRUE problems. :-)
