Hi David
Yes, you can absolutely do this with JavaScript.
And if your users are using at least level 4
browsers (Netscape or Internet Explorer), you
can even track user's clicks on the keyboard.
Although I didn't go to the trouble of creating
an image map for the keypad I've created a short
and simple script on my website that you're free
to modify for use with an image map.
If you want help modifying this for an image map,
