Subject:RE: 28.8 Modem Users From:Dan Hall <Dan -at- cooper -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Thu, 4 Jan 2001 16:33:46 -0800
Some designer thought "Wouldn't it be great,
To code ignoring 28.8!"
So he plunked down some cash,
And bought himself Flash,
Then he stayed up working 'til late.
The pages he made were All Right,
Animated - and with colors so bright,
So he posted to the web,
And he called his boss Deb,
And said "Hey now, come visit my site!"
Now Deb was a corporate "Big Gun"
Who was connected to the web with T-1
So she looked at the page
and said "T'will be the rage!
I'm so proud of the work that you've done."
But some users whose residences were bucolic
Came to his site for a frolic,
And since their modems were slow,
Well, the site wouldn't go,
And they cried like a baby with colic.
The moral of the story my friends,
Is not in these web surfing trends,
But to not be a loser,
Remember your user,
And now my short poem ends!
