I'm on a short-term contract working on procedures that will be published
through an intranet. Corporate styles and templates are already in place,
and the standard authoring tool is FrontPage 2K, with which I am rapidly
becoming familiar and about which I make No Comment.
Does anyone know if FrontPage has an equivalent to DreamWeaver's technique
for specifying content that can only be modified on the template, not on
the pages. I've hunted through the Microsoft site and all the tool
comparisons and reviews that I can find (WebMonkey; CNet; usual suspects)
without finding anything. But maybe it has some obscure name that I haven't
thought of, or there's a 3rd-party tool, or something?
Please reply by mailto:Sandra -dot- Charker -at- getronics -dot- com and I'll summarise for
the list. As a visitor on this site, I think TechWhirl's volume is a bit
much for a visitor to put onto the servers, so I'm going NOMAIL and might
miss replies to the list.
Thanks
Sandra Charker
