I had a boss once who loved to spew such wisdom. Problem was, he was so busy
collecting and disseminating his wisdom, he never found a way to implement all
that wisdom and please customers. 

Aphorisms are swell for post-coital giggling, but you have to be able to turn
all that wisdom into action. Otherwise, you might as well sit atop the mountain
and preach to the rocks. 

Here's my favorite aphorisms:

1. Get back to work, you! 
2. Work harder, not smarter.
