RE: (almost) Blank Pages
Previously I would have simply left the page blank without commenting on it.

In my manuals, those pages all have a footer with a page number on them, so they're already unblank (or un-blank?). Which is a pity, because those options are much more fun, although they maybe something of an inside joke. Depending on the audience, some people who would not have been confused by the blank page (since they aren't reading cover to cover anyway) suddenly would be!
