I can not believe how helpful you all are! And this was my first question to
the list! I can't report back for a week or so because it doesn't happen all
the time. Now I have a lot of suggestions for our Help Desk. Thank you!

Ask your PC tech to check your monitor on a different computer. Also ask
him/her to check out your video card, it may be bad.

Subject: RE: Monitor shutting off
The cable from my monitor to my computer is secure but I'll check all
others. In order to get my monitor to come back on I have to reboot. And it
is very aggravating because I can't see when I'm trying to save by using
Ctrl-S! Especially when I have multiple programs open. Oh and also, I
recently replaced my monitor because it was happening with the last one.
It's probably something stupid.
Thanks so much.
