Reminds me of Stan Kelly-Bootle's suggested collective noun, "a sequence of deadlines".
Kelly-Bootle's "Computer Contradictionary" is a recent release updating his 1970s
"The Devil's DP Dictionary". Some examples:

Documentation noun [latin documentum "warning"]:
 1. The promised literature that fails to arrive with the supporting hardware.
 2. A single, illegible photocopied page of proprietary caveats and
       suggested infractions.
 3. The detailed, unindexed description of a superseded package.

Downtime:
  The period during which a system is error-free and immune from user input.

Endless loop: see loop, endless

Another interesting book is "An Exaltation of Larks" which catalogs English
collective nouns.
