Re: Bad Fit?
...I was told on Monday, after a week on the job, that "it
isn't working out" although no other details were forthcoming.
I once worked for a major retailer (regardless of where you live, you have undoubtedly shopped there). My *FIRST* day on the job, my boss announced that we were going to be audited, and directed me to join my colleagues running all over the store hiding pirated software on all the computers. After establishing that she wasn't joking, I coldly informed her that I do not break laws. She replied, "But Ken wan'ts it" (referring to the head of MIS). I told her that I didn't care who wanted it, I don't break laws. Period.
So it could just be something simple, such as that you have too much integrity for the job. Don't let it get to you. You know you're good, and you'll find something much better -- and, as you said, you got exposure to Frameworker.
