Hello Michele and Everyone,

(My comment is at the bottom, if you want to just scroll down)

Michele Davis wrote:

Since we're young though, we're also creative, and can come up with many
different ways to make money, just in case the whole technology market goes
down the
toilet.

Susan Shields vented thusly:

Gosh, does youth=creativity? Another thing I didn't know. Even old folks
can
come up with ways to make a living in an unstable market, though...although
experience may be as important as creativity in that endeavor.

and Maartha Rogers added:

Yep, Susan. Experience counts for a lot. If not, many of us could be in
big trouble if the "whole technology market" imploded: too old to figure
out
other ways of earning our keep and too young for Social Security.

to which John Gilger added:

I guess if "the whole technology market" goes in the sewer, I can always go
back to working as a plumber/pipefitter. ;)

You don't have to be creative or young to snake a drain or fix a leaky
pipe,
but experience helps.

My 2¢ in this discussion:
I think that Mark Twain (or someone) once said that there was nothing wrong
with youth that a little time wouldn't cure. You will, I hope, discover
that creativity and youth are not inversely related
