Flash is great. Not only does it enable the designer to embed ANY fonts (so
the audience can view the site as the designer intended), there is also mp3
compression which allows for a small file size with a memorable soundtrack
to your site. Flash also allows interactivity, because just reading and
looking at a web page is BORING and it's much more entertaining to interact
with it. It is, however, unfortunate that Flash can fall into the hands of
inexperienced designers who use it incorrectly (thus creating large file
sizes with long downloads), creating a bad rap for Flash. (But that's ok,
what flash is helping do is create another eschelan of designers on the
cutting edge). Happy flashing!
