Another way to stay focused is to make sure your PDP aligns with your manager's PDP - for example:
Your manager: Support the company safety goals by holding monthly safety meetings
You: Support company safety goals by attending monthly safety meetings.
Ideally, this should make writing your PDP a lot easier because you have some direction. It's still time-consuming, though!
