Hello everybody,
I'm a Technical Writer for an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
We are 'hosting' sophisticated Web-Projects in our 'Server-Farm'
and provide adequate Internet-linkage.
One of my tasks is to design and establish a common drawing-instruction for our networks (LAN and WAN). Servers ,VLAN's,
DMZ's, Routers, Switches and all other Network-Components have to
be documented, most preferably graphically in 'network-maps'.
I found out that there are not much standards for graphical Network-Documentation.
Can anybody give me a hint where to find good guides and tools for Network-Documentation?
Feel free to e-mail to: nhgtfeva -at- my-deja -dot- com
With best regards,
Ferdinand
